Contract Specialist (ContractSafe) - 6-8 Week Project
Location: Deerfield, Illinois (Onsite) Pay: $30-$35/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Overview
A project-based Contract Specialist is needed to support the cleanup and standardization of a ContractSafe contract repository. This role will focus on improving data accuracy, organizing contract records, and ensuring consistency across the system to support reporting and ongoing contract management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and validate ContractSafe contract records for completeness and accuracy
  • Populate required metadata fields and standardize data entries
  • Rename documents to align with established naming conventions
  • Reclassify and standardize contract categories
  • Archive contracts in accordance with retention guidelines
  • Upload and index newly executed contracts within ContractSafe
  • Support reporting efforts, including:
    • Renewal tracking
    • Action items
    • Workload planning
Requirements
  • ContractSafe experience required
  • Experience working with contract repositories and/or legal documents
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas (pivot tables a plus)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
