Position Summary
St. Luke’s Cataract amp; Laser Institute is seeking a creative, driven, and collaborative Content Creator to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for producing engaging video, digital, and blog content that supports patient education, brand awareness, audience engagement, and patient acquisition across multiple service lines.
The ideal candidate is an experienced storyteller with strong filming and editing skills, a passion for creating both short-form and long-form content, and the ability to work effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and marketing team members. This individual will take initiative, bring fresh ideas to the table, and manage projects from concept to completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality and brand consistency.

Video Production amp; Content Creation
  • Plan, film, edit, and produce high-quality video content across all St. Luke’s service lines and brands
  • Create engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Produce long-form content including patient stories, physician interviews, educational videos, procedure overviews, and YouTube content
  • Manage all aspects of video production, including concept development, scripting support, filming, lighting, audio, editing, motion graphics, and post-production
  • Capture authentic provider, patient, and lifestyle content that reflects the St. Luke’s brand and mission
  • Develop creative concepts that align with marketing campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and business goals
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, compliance requirements, and organizational messaging
Blog amp; SEO Content Development
  • Collaborate closely with the organization's SEO specialist and marketing team to develop content that supports search engine optimization goals and patient acquisition initiatives
  • Assist in planning, researching, writing, editing, and publishing blog content across multiple service lines
  • Conduct interviews with physicians, providers, and subject matter experts to develop educational and informative content
  • Optimize blog content using SEO best practices, including keyword integration, metadata, internal linking, and content structure
  • Coordinate supporting imagery, video, and visual assets for blog publications
  • Manage blog publishing within the website, ensuring accuracy in formatting, branding, and user experience
  • Review and update existing content as needed to maintain relevance and improve search performance
Content Strategy amp; Innovation
  • Bring fresh ideas and creative approaches to improve audience engagement and brand visibility
  • Identify opportunities to leverage trends, emerging platforms, and new content formats
  • Take ownership of projects and execute with minimal supervision
  • Analyze content performance and recommend strategies for continuous improvement
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Film Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience filming and editing both short-form and long-form video content
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and related content creation tools
  • Experience operating professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, medical, lifestyle, or consumer marketing.
  • Experience writing or editing blogs and digital content.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, Canva, WordPress, Meta Business Suite, Microsoft Office, and YouTube Studio.
  • Photography and motion graphics experience
