Responsibilitiesย 

Margaritaville at Sea is seeking an experienced Shore Excursions Manager to oversee the planning, delivery, and performance of shore excursion programs across the fleet. This role serves as the key link between corporate teams and shipboard staff, ensuring high-quality guest experiences, strong revenue performance, and adherence to brand and safety standards.ย 

The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships,ย optimizeย excursion offerings, drive sales, and ensure seamless operations in all ports of call. This position plays a vital role in enhancing guest satisfaction through memorable, well-executed destination experiences.ย 

Essential Functions:ย 

  • Program Oversight:ย Own the planning, execution, and overall performance of shore excursion programs across the fleet, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational goals.ย 

  • Vendor Management:ย Develop andย maintainย strong relationships with tour operators, local vendors, and port partners to secure high-quality, reliable, and competitive excursion offerings.ย 

  • Safety & Compliance:ย Ensure all shore excursions meet company safety standards, regulatory requirements, and brand expectations, minimizing risk whileย maintainingย exceptional experiences.ย 

  • Revenue Growth:ย Drive revenue performance through strategic pricing, product development, and collaboration with onboard teams to maximize sales opportunities.ย 

  • Guest Experience:ย Monitorย guest feedback and satisfaction scores,ย identifyingย opportunities to enhance excursion quality and deliver memorable destination experiences.ย 

  • Operational Excellence:ย Coordinateย logisticsย and execution in each port of call, ensuring smooth operations,ย timelyย departures, and seamless guest experiences.ย 

  • Team Leadership:ย Train, support, and guide shipboard shore excursions teams to consistently deliverย high levelsย of service and achieve sales and performance targets.ย 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:ย Partner with marketing, operations, and guest services teams to enhance offerings, promote excursions, and ensure alignment across departments.ย 

  • Performance Analysis:ย Analyze key metrics and financial performance toย identifyย trends, improve profitability, and implement continuous improvements.ย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.ย 

Experience:ย 

  • Poven success managing guest programs and delivering high-quality experiencesย 

  • Experience developing andย maintainingย vendor and partner relationshipsย 

  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue performance and meet financial targetsย 

  • Previousย shipboard experience preferredย 

  • Experience managing multi-site or fleet-level operations is a plusย 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:ย 

  • Strong understanding of shore excursion operations and destinationย logisticsย 

  • Ability to drive revenue through pricing, product development, and sales strategiesย 

  • Skilled in vendor negotiation, contract management, and relationship buildingย
