As Assistant Shorex Manager, you will Manager assist the Shore Excursion Manager in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the onboard Shore Excursion Department. This role supports company goals by ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, revenue generation, and team performance. The Assistant Manager works closely with team members to sell and manage tour bookings, maintain high service standards, ensure safety compliance, and handle administrative responsibilities.

This position also plays a vital role in training, supervising, and stepping in for the Shore Excursion Manager when required. Provide accurate and detailed information to guests regarding tour offerings.

Upsell and upgrade excursions to increase perโ€person spend. Monitor tour availability and participation minimums; offer alternative options when needed, manage waitlists, and update systems accordingly. Assist guests with special requests and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.

Manage excursion dispatch operations and coordinate with local tour operators. Oversee guest disembarkation and tendering procedures. Maintain regular communication with tour operators regarding guest counts, transportation, and service requirements.

Join excursions to ensure quality or serve as escort or translator as required. Operate and maintain the Fidelio/Cruise Manager system for tour tracking, bookings, and reporting. Prepare and submit reports to tour operators and internal departments.

Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness of the excursion desk and related areas. Perform all administrative duties including ticket control, supply inventory, and documentation. etc.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 21 years old Relevant ship experience is preferred Good level of English language Ship experience is preferred Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
