Role: D365 F&O / eCommerce Lead
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

 

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced D365 F&O / eCommerce Lead to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of finance, order management, and commerce capabilities for the Skylark platform. This individual will play a key leadership role during the platform mobilization phase, establishing technology foundations and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise applications, customer experience platforms, and commerce ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, eCommerce platforms, and enterprise architecture, with experience delivering complex multi-brand, multi-channel solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Platform & Solution Leadership

  • Define the technology foundation for Phase 1, including:
    • Architecture and solution design
    • Platform strategy
    • Environment management
    • Infrastructure planning
    • Integration approaches
    • Development tooling
    • Non-functional requirements (security, scalability, performance, reliability)
  • Lead the design and implementation of finance, order management, and commerce capabilities across the Skylark platform.
  • Establish architecture standards, governance, and best practices for D365 F&O and commerce solutions.
  • Drive solution alignment across CRM, CDP, commerce, and enterprise service layers.

Commerce & Financial Operations

  • Design and implement:
    • B2B and B2C commerce workflows
    • Order-to-cash processes
    • Billing and invoicing capabilities
    • Product lifecycle management processes
    • Financial operations and reporting
  • Ensure seamless transaction processing across brands, channels, and partner ecosystems.
  • Lead integration efforts between D365 F&O, D365 CE, Shopify, and other external commerce platforms.

Enterprise Integration & Architecture

  • Define integration patterns between:
    • D365 Finance & Operations
    • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)
    • Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
    • Commerce platforms
