This role combines deep product knowledge, market expertise, relationship management, and commercial decision-making to maximize inventory quality, profitability, and client experience. Working fully on-site and collaborating closely with internal teams and suppliers, the Buyer will identify opportunities, make informed purchasing decisions, and help shape the product strategy that drives our continued growth.

  • Partner with Buying, Inventory, Sales, and E-commerce teams to optimize product flow and resolve operational issues.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system discrepancies to maintain efficient buying and inventory processes.

Supplier & Client Relationship Management

  • Develop trusted relationships with suppliers by providing guidance on product needs, pricing, and brand alignment.
  • Deliver exceptional service and communication throughout the buying process.
  • Share product insights and customer trends with internal teams to support sales strategies and enhance the client experience.

Pricing Strategy & Market Expertise

  • Leverage resale pricing expertise to evaluate products, determine value, and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product performance to optimize purchasing decisions.
  • Analyze sales data and sell-through performance to inform inventory strategy and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure purchases align with margin targets across buyouts, store credit, and consignment.

Strategic Collaboration & Leadership

  • Own key buying metrics and contribute insights during department strategy meetings.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Operations teams to align buying initiatives with business goals.
  • Lead independent projects that support process improvements, business development, and company growth.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in luxury retail, fashion buying, resale, consignment, or a related product-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of luxury fashion brands, categories, materials, and current market trends.
  • Proven experience evaluating, pricing, and curating luxury products with a strong understanding of resale value and customer demand.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, vendors, or consignors.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to assess value, manage margins, and make sound purchasing decisions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance, sell-through data, and market insights to influence buying decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in product authentication, quality control, or working alongside authentication teams is considered an asset.
  • Comfortable using technology and systems to support purchasing, inventory management, and reporting (experience with Shopify, RFID, or resale platforms is an asset).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across Buying, Sales, E-commerce, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passion for luxury fashion, sustainability, and the resale industry.

Why Join Mine & Yours

  • Competitive benefits package with extended health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Wellness support through virtual healthcare services and an Employee & Family Assistance Program.
