Who You Areย 

We are looking for aย Business Intelligence & Data Systems Analystย to take ownership of the organization's data ecosystem and help transform data into meaningful business insights.ย 

This is a highly hands-on and autonomous role. You will be the primary resource responsible for the company's BI and data environment, working across systems, data integrations, reporting, and analytics while partnering directly with stakeholders across the business.ย 

The ideal candidate is someone who not only knows how to work with data, but thinks critically aboutย how data should be organized, structured, documented, and used to support scalable business decisions.ย

Requirements

ย What You'll Do:ย 

Data & Systems Managementย 

  • Take ownership of the organization's data and analytics environment, includingย Qlik Sense, Snowflake,ย Fivetran, Census, and Veeva CRM.ย 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integrations and pipelines to ensure data isย accurate, reliable, and accessible.ย 
  • Identifyย inconsistencies, investigate data issues, and work with internal teams, consultants, and software vendors to resolve issues.ย 
  • Establish scalable approaches to data organization, documentation, and governance.ย 
  • Help reduce one-off data solutions by developing more standardized and sustainable processes.ย 
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and know when toย leverageย vendorย and consultantย expertise.ย 
  • Identifyย opportunities to improve automation, data architecture, and the overall efficiency of the data environment.ย 

Business Intelligence & Reportingย 

  • Own the development and ongoing administration ofย Qlik Sense, including dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reporting.ย 
  • Develop standardized reporting across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership.ย 
  • Pull data from multiple systems and turn it into meaningful insights and recommendations.ย 
  • Analyze business performance andย identifyย trends, opportunities, and areas requiring further investigation.ย 
  • Ensure the business is reporting on the right information and that KPIs accurately reflect business performance.ย 
  • Present dashboards, reporting, and insights to stakeholders across the organization.ย 
  • Support both recurring reporting requirements and ad hoc analytical requests.ย 

Data Strategy & Business Partnershipย 

  • Work directly with stakeholders across multiple business units to understand their reporting and analytics needs.ย 
  • Help establish a more structured and scalable approach to how business data is organized and managed.ย 
  • Act as a key resource in developing the organization's data and reporting strategy.ย 
  • Evaluate opportunities toย leverageย automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve reporting and decision-making.ย 
  • Support data initiatives involvingย additionalย sources and platforms, including potential integrations withย Amazon and Shopify.ย 
  • Balance ongoing reporting needs with longer-term data improvement and implementation projects.ย 

ย What We're Looking For:ย 

  • 3+ years of experience inย Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Management, or a similar role.ย 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense isย required.ย 
  • Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.ย 
  • Experience working with data warehouses, integrations, and ETL/ELT processes.ย 
  • Experience withย Snowflakeย is strongly preferred.ย 
  • Experience withย Fivetran, Census, and/or Veeva CRMย is an asset.ย 
  • Power BI experience is an asset, particularly as the organization continues to evaluate its future BI strategy.ย 
  • Strong understanding of data organization, data quality, governance, and scalable data practices.ย 
  • Ability to investigate data discrepancies and troubleshoot issues across multiple systems.ย 
  • Strong business acumen and the ability toย identifyย the key insights and business drivers within data.ย 
  • Excellent communicationย skills with the ability to work effectivelyย with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.ย 
  • Experience working with external technology vendors and consultants is an asset.ย
