Posting Title: eCommerce Operation Engineer
Groundbreaking advances in synthetic biology achieved at Amyris allow us to create products which are better and safer for humans and more sustainable for the planet. The Digital group is charged with creating connected experiences and back-end services to catapult our consumer brands to global significance and impact.
The eCommerce platform for the consumer business consists of Shopify, Boomi, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Zendesk, Domo, NetSuite, and other third-party and internally-created software. We will also launch our largest brand, Biossance, in different languages in 2021, the first step in a global e-commerce expansion.
The impact of this role is highly visible to our senior business leaders. You will lead mission-critical integrations and crisis management for our eCommerce stores.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support Integrations between Shopify and Boomi
  • Enforce and improve eCommerce operations policies including change management, user governance, data access control, and incident management using escalations and Vendor support when needed
  • Communicate with business stakeholders, collect requirements, and collaborate with developers to continuously improve our eCommerce systems.
  • Monitor the health status of our eCommerce systems and email marketing campaigns through analytics and key metrics. Immediately address any risks that impact our live operations.
  • On-call for emergency operation issues.
  • Use your passion, skills, and wisdom to bring our digital platforms to their full potential in the best customer experience and growth for our brands.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years related experience in Full Stack development.
  • 3 to 5 years in enforcing and improving software change management in live operations.
  • 3 or more years’ experience in project management in system integration.
  • Excellent communicator who explains technical details in nontechnical language.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary
  • Assertive, adaptable, and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Proficient with MS Office, Google Suite, and Jira
  • A customer focus, a strong drive for results, and a collaborative team player
  • Experience with Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) is a big plus.
