Job description

Weezie is a fast-growing, design-forward luxury home brand on a mission to elevate the everyday. What started in 2018 as an idea between two friends has grown into a nationally recognized brand with ambitions to become a category leader in luxury home goods. We've been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. (Inc. 5000) and are proud to be a female-founded and led brand building something truly differentiated.

Wholesale is our fastest-growing channel, up over 150% year to date, and our national retail partnerships are the newest and most important part of that story. Every one of these accounts has launched within the last twelve months.

We are seeking a Key Account Executive to own and grow a portfolio of national retail partners, including Dillard's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and Shopbop. This role reports to our Director of Business Development.

What You'll Do

Own Strategic Retail Accounts

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of national retail partners, building trusted relationships with buyers, planners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop account-specific growth strategies that expand distribution and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Represent Weezie at market weeks, trade shows, and line presentations, owning prep, assortment storytelling, and follow-through.
  • Uphold distribution and MAP guardrails so growth never comes at the expense of the brand.

Drive Account Growth

  • Move pilot accounts to programmatic: consistent seasonal reorders, expanded door count, and a real assortment strategy at each.
  • Monitor sell-through, inventory, and door productivity to identify risks and opportunities, and turn that analysis into recommendations buyers act on.
  • Partner with buyers on seasonal line reviews, assortment planning, product launches, reorders, and promotional opportunities.
  • Own account-level demand forecasts and partner with Demand Planning so inventory is positioned to support the plan.
  • Partnering with the Director of Business Development and SVP of Merchandising to recommend and negotiate account terms, markdown support, and promotional investment.

Lead Account Execution

  • Lead onboarding and operational readiness for new retail accounts, coordinating execution across Operations, Merchandising, Brand, and Finance.
  • Own EDI and retailer compliance for your accounts, and drive chargebacks and compliance penalties toward zero.
  • Oversee order flow accuracy from PO through delivery, partnering with Sales Operations on execution and owning escalation when something is at risk.
  • Build the operating rhythm this business doesn't have yet: a forecasting cadence Demand Planning can rely on, a line review calendar we drive rather than react to, and account reporting that informs decisions instead of just recapping them.

Support Channel Expansion

  • Own dropship and marketplace performance for your accounts, including content, availability, and conversion.
  • Support the launch of new strategic retail and marketplace partnerships, building scalable processes as we go.
KPIs
  • Key Account Net Revenue
  • Key Account Gross Margin %
  • Sell-Through Performance
  • Reorder Rate
  • Dropship & Marketplace Revenue
Who You Are
  • 5+ years in wholesale, account management, merchandising, or retail partnerships, with proven success managing national retail accounts. You've built an account from launch to scale, not just maintained one.
  • A natural relationship-builder who genuinely enjoys the people side of the business. Buyers remember you, pick up your calls, and give you the benefit of the doubt when something goes sideways — because you’ve invested in the relationship, not just the transaction.
  • Strong command of retail math, inventory management, and sell-through analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with EDI retailers and account compliance requirements. Shopify or similar ecommerce platform experience preferred.
  • A high sense of accountability and follow-through. You take real ownership of your accounts, including the parts that aren't your fault, and things don't fall through the cracks.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization. You can hold a lot at once, know what actually moves the needle, and stay effective when the pace picks up.
  • A proactive problem solver who fixes broken processes rather than working around them, which matters in a wholesale business we're still building.
  • A collaborative team player who builds trust with buyers and internal teams alike, communicates clearly, and is comfortable with healthy debate.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a service mindset that matches the quality of the product.
What You Can Expect
  • Hybrid work environment (Atlanta-based; in-office Tuesday through Thursday)
  • Approximately 20% of your time will be travel for trade shows, retailer visits, key account meetings, and other strategic business initiatives.
  • A team that works hard but knows how to #enjoythestay
  • Unlimited PTO, plus remote work during the week of July 4 and an office closure the week after Christmas
  • Anniversary benefits program, including a Summer Fridays (1pm summer close) after 1 year of service, $3,000 travel credit after 3 years of service and a 5-week paid sabbatical after 5 years of service
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Generous Weezie product gifts and discounts for you, your friends, and family
  • Paid Parental Leave

Weezie is an Equal Opportunity Employer that participates in E-Verify. Offers of employment are conditioned upon successfully passing a background screening. Weezie does not provide employment visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
