Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Fleet Service Shop Supervisor to lead our fleet maintenance operations in Acheson, AB. In this leadership role, you will oversee shop activities, support and develop a skilled team, and help ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready to support operational needs.


Key Responsibilities
ย ย ย ย Manage projects and personnel in the service shop.
ย ย ย ย Oversee and coordinate the project planning, maintenance and repair of fleet camp infrastructure, including machinery, equipment, electrical, mechanical, heating, and plumbing systems.
ย ย ย ย Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of Trades Personnel, Machine Operators, Laborers, Administrative Personnel, Facility Coordinators and Sub-Contractors.
ย ย ย ย Monitor workflow and labor levels to identify manpower requirements, which includes capacity planning and ensuring employees have competency levels and training required to perform the job.
ย ย ย ย Manage site inventory in coordination with Warehouse Manager
ย ย ย ย Provide Safety Leadership to site staff.
ย ย ย ย Plan and propose asset solutions for upcoming projects, attend project meetings and coordinate with field construction and maintenance leadership to ensure assets meet project requirements
ย ย ย ย Provide service cost estimates for proposed asset solutions and risk analysis.
ย ย ย ย Manage and coordinate 3rd party contractors for both building and service shop maintenance.
ย ย ย ย Maintain register of fleet asset locations and conditions throughout the main show and satellite yards
ย ย ย ย Ensure operational cost efficiency and effectiveness by managing labor hours and expenditures.
ย ย ย ย Develop and implement service maintenance programs, including schedules and procedures for maintenance, safety and physical equipment inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and identify opportunity for continuous improvement
ย ย ย ย Read and interpret drawings, building codes and specifications for existing installations to ensure technical information is current and in compliance with project requirements and legislative standards.
ย ย ย ย Ensure maintenance projects are completed as scheduled, which includes planning, prioritization, establishing methods to meet work schedules, coordinating work activities with other departments, and meeting the commitments.
ย ย ย ย Continuous improvement in QA/QC document control for services provided
ย ย ย ย Develop and maintain standards for asset maintenance and quality of services.
ย ย ย ย Tracking unit costs of service work on assets
ย ย ย ย Conduct inspections to ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
ย ย ย ย Other maintenance duties and related administrative duties as required.
ย ย ย ย Working knowledge of Fleet, and how to maintain all aspects of them.

Qualifications

ย ย ย ย Certified journeyman or equivalent certification in a building maintenance related trade, or significant related experience, with mobile camp experience an asset.
ย ย ย ย Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
ย ย ย ย Min 5-10 years of directly related supervisory experience.
ย ย ย ย Knowledge and skills in MS Windows and MS Office Suite.
ย ย ย ย Knowledge of JDE or similar Enterprise Software and/or PM scheduling software
ย ย ย ย Strong management and leadership skills.
ย ย ย ย Ability to develop strong working relationships with employees and management at all levels.
ย ย ย ย Good project management skills to meet deadlines, minimize cost, and maximize resources.
ย ย ย ย Excellent organizational and time management skills.
ย ย ย ย Great customer service skills, strong focus on quality of services, and ability to implement systems and processes for excellence and continuous improvement.
ย ย ย ย Strong focus on safety, including personal safety, safety of co-workers, and protection of property on the job in accordance and compliance with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
