Shop Helper

This Shop Helper role is with a steel manufacturing company that provides quality cut parts for manufacturers, fabricators, and machine shops. You’ll work in a hands-on shop environment loading and unloading parts, using power tools and deburring tools to clean and prepare parts, and training to become forklift certified. This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offers a consistent schedule, $19–$21 per hour depending on experience, cross-training, and an opportunity to build your warehouse and manufacturing skills while growing with the company.
Shop Helper Duties:
  • Load and unload steel parts and materials.
  • Use power tools and deburring tools to clean and prepare parts.
  • Safely handle heavy materials and parts.
  • Complete forklift training and work toward forklift certification.
  • Assist with general warehouse and fabrication shop tasks.
Schedule:
  • Shift Type: Day
  • Days and Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
Pay: $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience
Shop Helper Requirements:
  • Warehouse or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle heavy materials.
  • Ability to use basic power tools.
  • Willingness to complete forklift training and become certified.
