Job description

Job Summary:
The Door Shop Associate position works primarily on the production floor in our millwork division using door production machinery and basic carpentry skills to assemble interior and exterior doors. In this role, you will be a part of a team effort to assemble quality doors that are made to specification to meet customers' orders for both single family and multi-family construction projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Essential Job Functions:
  • Rotating jobs and learning the whole scope of the assembly process for both interior and exterior door lines within the door shop.
  • Material gathering, inspection, quality control, packaging, and preparing for shipping.
  • Use of pneumatic tools, power tools, saws, and other carpentry tools for the use of building orders.
  • Uses Personal Protective Equipment, machine guarding, and other safety requirements.
  • Cleans equipment, floors, and other work areas according to safety procedures
  • Assists with raw materials and finished goods inventory and material replenishment throughout the production floor.
  • Assemble and install insulated glass panels into sash and/or frame.
  • Package, wrap, and stack completed units
  • Performs other duties as required

  • Ability to solve problems quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
  • Ability to understand carpentry principles and methods.
