The Opportunity:

As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Shop Technician will report directly to the Maintenance lead, and will work out of their locally assigned base location. The primary function of this position is to assist with maintenance and parts related duties, both inside and outside of the shop.


General Responsibilities:

  • Abide by the policies set forth in the Company’s quality & Safety manuals, maintain safety standards at all times in the shop and yard, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Assist with maintenance related tasks & general repair work on truck mounted oilfield service equipment, hydraulic components, & heavy trucks
  • Wash equipment & trucks, repack triplex / c-pumps, pressure test equipment, pick up parts, complete facility maintenance as required etc.
  • Moving / Driving Heavy Equipment, Hot Shots using company pickup etc.
  • Greasing / Servicing tractors, pressure pumping equipment, iron, valves etc.
  • Complete other duties as required


Qualifications:

  • Direct Shop Tech experience is strongly preferred, those with relevant Oil and Gas experience will be prioritized; Oilfield Cementing, Frac, Coil, N2 etc.
  • Hardworking, works well alone, self-starter, self-motivated: Safety focused
  • Mechanical Aptitude is required; prior shop mechanical / shop XP is a plus; apprenticeship opportunities available for exceptional hires
  • Unrestricted Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
  • The desire to start a career in the Oil and Gas industry


Individuals with Canadian Armed Forces, or Agricultural backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
