JOB SUMMARY:

This position assists in the overall success and growth of the Shoot 360 program and facility. The Assistant Basketball Head Coach supports daily Shoot 360 operations by delivering training sessions, engaging members, and maintaining program expectations for In-Shape Family Fitness. This role works in partnership with the Basketball Head Coach to ensure client improvement, satisfaction, and a consistently positive member experience while upholding the company brand, values, and strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a support leader to the Basketball head coach to ensure consistent program execution
  • Assist in the growth and success of the Shoot 360 program and its facility
  • Support the general maintenance of the Shoot 360 facility and its equipmentย 
  • Support and assist in daily/weekly facility operations to ensure a safe, clean, and member centric environment.ย 
  • Assist with onboarding and training of Shoot360 team members
  • Assist in skill development by connecting, correcting, competing, and challenging members
  • Support on-site events, camps, and clinics to drive program engagement and growth
  • Engage members to promote retention and provide a high level of service
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Coaching experience preferred
  • Effectively communicate (verbal and writing skills) in English
  • Lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
  • Flexible/positive attitude in meeting and exceeding our members' expectations
  • Work well under pressure and time constraints and displays positive behavior in all member contacts
  • Attend and participate in required meetings and trainings as needed
  • Willing and able to work a flexible shift: overnight, weekends, and holidays
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Current CPR or ability to pass CPR certification within 60 days of hire date
  • Concussion protocol training or willingness to complete training
  • First Aid Training, required only at clubs with Pool Slides

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to walk, stand, and move throughout club facilities and outdoor areas for up to 8 hours per day, and may also sit for extended periods for planning and administrative work. Team members may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, pool chemicals, dust, noise, temperature fluctuations (hot and cold environments), and airborne particles, and will be required to wear designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed.

Team members are frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grip, and operate tools and equipment; reach, push, and pull with arms and hands; occasional climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and to bend and twist, including side-to-side movements. The team member may be required to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds, will often be required to lift, carry, or move 26-50 pounds.
