The Shipping Warehouse Associate is responsible for the coordination of movement of inventory to the Sterilization Facility and to Other Integra Distribution Warehouses. Works on problems of a diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of related factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Normally receives minimal instructions from manager on routine work, and general instructions on new assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assembles customer orders by accurately picking and counting items to fill the orders from the correct stock location, placing orders on pallets or in containers
  • Prepares items for shipment by verifying item #, description, lot # and quantity for accuracy against customer order - report any discrepancies to appropriate supervisor
  • Checks Orders and Shipments for accuracy
  • Conforms packaging to company's criteria and standards - pack and secure items in appropriate size shipping container
  • Utilize hand held scanner to facilitate the order picking process
  • Inspect items for label accuracy
  • Affixes labels and shipping information on packaging and onto shipping documentation
  • Generates packing list from WMS System. Familiar with WMS systems, processes and applications

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or Technical School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three (3) years experience in Shipping/Warehouse/ Distribution environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attentive to detail and organized Self directed and good problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team environment.
  • Previous picking and packing experience Forklift experience a plus
  • FedEx Ship Manager experience a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
  • Responsible for Accurate computer transactions for all material movements.
  • Ability to lift and or move objects up to 50 -70 lbs without mechanical means.
  • Back Up and or assist in receiving/ stockroom when workload warrants, or absence of a colleague.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and other applicable standard Computer Experience including but not limited to MS Word/Excel, ORACLE MRP system experience a plus.
  • Insures all inventory transactions are processed accordingly, and in a timely manner.
  • Loads outbound freight Organizes and maintains Finished Good inventory.
  • Makes recommendations for policies and procedures which will improve quality, cycle time, and streamlines material movements.
  • Maintain Osha safety and cleanliness practices Operates computer for data entry and retrieval.
  • Assures compliance with company SOPs and policies.
  • Attends departmental team meetings as necessary.
  • Keeps full records of material transactions in their designated areas.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities, as required.

Salary Pay Range:
