Job description

US Farathane is seeking an experienced Production Shipping and Receiving Clerk for 2nd shift.
Schedule: Monday-Friday with overtime available. (Overtime and weekends may be required)
2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Starting pay is up to $16.50 per hour + shift differential of $0.75 for 2nd shift

Responsibilities include:
  • Loading/unloading of trucks in a safe manner utilizing a forklift
  • Prepare parts for shipment using FIFO and according to the individual customer packaging instructions.
  • Transfer parts from warehouse to shipment staging. Ensure parts are scanned, wrapped and have master labels. Check dock codes as required per customer.
  • Ensure proper dock lock procedures are followed.
  • Label parts and shipments as directed by the shipping schedule.
  • Repack, re label and re wrap as necessary
  • Retrieve finished inventory that is put on hold. Re wrap and put away when released from hold. Arrange in orderly manner for Quality to sort.
  • Keep all areas of warehouse and docks clean, organized, and clear of debris and resin.
  • Monthly inventories as needed and verify numbers.
  • Assist in training for new Shipping/Receiving Clerk and/or back up Shipping/Receiving Clerk.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous forklift driving experience (minimum of 6 months) in a plant or warehouse environment.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Good mathematical ability and computer skills.
  • Ability to pass company provided forklift training.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently required to stand, walk or sit.
  • Regularly required to use hands and lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and crouching.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to focus.
Working Conditions:
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Employee may be required to work outside for short periods of time.
