Power Temp Systems, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hands-on Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring industrial products and materials are shipped, received, recorded, and stored accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have direct shipping and receiving experience, strong inventory control skills, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with industrial products and parts.

What You Will Do
  • Coordinate hands-on inbound and outbound shipments
  • Prepare and verify bills of lading, packing slips, work orders, and other shipping documentation
  • Receive, inspect, count, label, stage, and palletize industrial materials and parts
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory transactions in the company's system
  • Organize stock locations and ensure materials are properly stored and labeled
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged materials
  • Pick and prepare inventory for customer orders, work orders, and internal requests
  • Coordinate carrier pickups through UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight carriers
  • Perform light quality checks and report damaged or nonconforming materials
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and inventory areas
  • Assist with basic mechanical or industrial parts handling when needed
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum of 5 years of related shipping, receiving, and inventory experience in a warehouse or industrial environment
  • Experience shipping and managing inventory for industrial, mechanical, electrical, or MRO products
  • Experience with inventory systems, inventory transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
  • Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems; LTL freight experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of proper packing, staging, labeling, and freight documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
  • Forklift certification required
  • Ability to pull and back a trailer
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or experience handling industrial parts
  • Ability to prioritize multiple shipments, orders, and inventory requests
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear driving record required

This is a hands-on warehouse position with responsibility for both shipping and inventory accuracy. Candidates seeking an office-only or dispatch-only role may not be a good fit.

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full-time | Generally 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime as needed
