Job description

OUR COMPANY:

Role Overview & Responsibilities

This role ensures the accurate receiving, movement, inventory control, and shipping of materials across the facility, supporting both warehouse and production operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support daily outbound shipments using carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Maintain inventory control of all incoming and outgoing parts.
  • Maintain strict seperation of customer orders and manufacturing jobs throughout the shipping process.
  • Verify, track, and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Coordinate multiple customer orders simultaneously while preventing the mixing of products.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
  • Verify finished goods, quantities, packaging and lables prior to shippment.
  • Collaborate with Production and Planning to prioritize shipments based on customer commitments and production schedules.
  • Read a tape measure and assist in building shipping crates

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Experience in shipping and inventory control
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently
  • Comfortable working in an industrial metal fabrication setting
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
