Automotive Shipping Receiving Warehouse ClerkKennesaw, GA

Carl Black Chevrolet Buick GMC is a growing organization that focuses our efforts on 100% customer satisfaction. The Carl Black organization is a very successful, privately owned group of four GM dealerships in the southeast region. We are currently seeking the right individual that desires the opportunity to be a part of the continuing growth of our parts department.

Requirements:

  • 2 Years of Proven Successful Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse experience recommended.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for loading and unloading.
  • Ability to reach, bend, squat, twist as needed to retrieve and/or place parts to/from bin system.
  • Ability to climb stairs and/or ladder to access upper level and/or high shelving.
  • General Motors Parts experience helpful.
  • Basic computer skills using email, excel, and web browsing necessary.
  • Clean driving record and Drug Free are Required.
  • Ability to operate forklift for loading/unloading

Job duties:

  • Receive shipments of parts and supplies.
  • Working in a warehouse environment
  • Sort and distribute items received to various individuals and buildings within the dealership.
  • Post data entry into the computer system.
  • File claims for damaged or shortages of parts.
  • Organize invoices and parts to be shipped or delivered.
  • Assist the delivery operations for local deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Stock parts into the correct bin location.
  • Pull parts for monthly returns to the manufacturer.
  • Maintain accountability for all parts purchased from vendors and distribute to intended locations.
  • Comply with all company policies and adhere to company standards.
  • Maintain required training by General Motors.
