Overview

A successful shipping and receiving associate will be responsible for coordinating and executing all tasks related to the shipment and receipt of goods in the warehouse.  This role involves preparing outgoing shipments by verifying and loading items, doing SAP transactions as it relates to the role and staging loads.  This role requires attention to detail and efficiency. 

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for unloading and receiving all products
  • Safely operate all forklifts and/or pallet movers
  • Loading and unloading material racks up to 30 feet utilizing a forklift
  • Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse
  • Review and verify documentation for accurate product types and quantities
  • Weighs pallets and scrap when applicable
  • Shrink wrap finished products and setup floor warehouse pickup
  • Examines finished pallets before pickup and distributes materials
  • Pull, stage, and load outbound shipments with the use of a forklift

Qualifications

  • Previously held a forklift certification
  • Sit-down electric forklift experience
  • Shipping and receiving experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Work overtime as required
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
