Job description

DAILY PAY IS AVAILABLE!

A Warehouse Associate is responsible for their portion of the warehouse function (picking, scanning or shipping). This person is accountable for the suitable handling and processing of all orders received in the picking, scanning, shipping, receiving and/or returns areas. Though each associate is assigned to a section of the warehouse, all are trained in the various areas and work where needed most as directed by their supervisor.

Job Duties: Under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Supervisor

  • Select stock according to store order (picking and packing instructions)
  • Accurately record quantities selected (or shorted) maintaining the company standard error rate
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others
  • Perform assigned tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform general physical activities in warehouse; loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment
  • Read work orders and received verbal instructions for work assignments
  • Fill and complete order receipts
  • Transport filled orders to and from shipping area
  • Stock shelves and kept stock clean and in sequence
  • Performed general cleaning duties
  • This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Warehouse experience preferred but not required
  • Applicant must be able to pass a drug test and background investigation
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
