Job description

Shipping 1 (Rotating Shift)

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipper 1 to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately preparing, loading, and shipping finished paper products in accordance with customer orders and company standards. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, stage, and load finished paper products according to shipping orders and schedules.
  • Verify product types, quantities, and condition to ensure accurate shipments.
  • Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect products for damage before loading and report any issues immediately.
  • Complete all required shipping paperwork and system entries accurately and on time.
  • Communicate and coordinate with drivers, carriers, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth shipping and receiving operations.
  • Assist with unloading and receiving incoming shipments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous shipping, warehouse, or material handling experience is a plus.
