Wallenius Wilhelmsen, is seeking Manufacturing-Quality Assurance at our equipment processing center in Decatur, IL.

Starting pay is $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role you will be responsible for completing pre-delivery inspections on heavy equipment and performing shipping/receiving functions.
  • Maintain the quality of all equipment stored at the facility during receiving, storage/preservation, exercise, pre-delivery/QA, final inspections and shipping.
  • Confirm that quality standards meet or exceed customer requirements
  • Maintain regular and frequent communication with both internal, (Keen Customer Service, Safety, and Quality) and external customers and during audits and visits

Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Experience operating construction and agricultural equipment, as well as lift trucks and cranes
  • Ability to use smartphone technology to complete inspections and other electronic forms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of employees and management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must pass post offer drug screen and background check as a condition of hire
  • Regular and punctual attendance as required
  • Steel toed boots/shoes are required
  • Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

WHAT YOU ARE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO
  • Climb, stoop, crawl, bend, stretch, lift and carry
  • Walk the yard area for purposes of inspection and identification of machinery and or pieces
  • Willing to work outside all year long in all reasonable weather conditions
  • Complete a full workday walking and/or standing
  • Perform work from a wide range of positions including standing, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, reclining, and climbing on scaffolding or ladders
  • Sufficient hand and arm strength to un-package and inspect parts
