About the Team:
Within our Warehouse and Distribution team, our mission is to ensure the efficient and effective movement and storage of products. This team serves as the backbone of our logistics operations, collaborating closely with other departments to deliver products on time and maintain inventory accuracy. This role is crucial to our operational efficiency, strategic growth, and overall success.
About the Role:
Supervise a staff of operational clericals that provide exceptional customer service, strategy and organizational excellence to support the distribution of apparel and satisfy the timely shipments of over 1,000 customers for PVH's wholesale divisions.
What You'll Do:
  • Supervise the Wave Planning and Account Planning of shipments for over 1,000 customers in a (projected) 24/5 wholesale facility.
  • Supervise the Merchandise Coordinators, Shipping/Receiving Clerks, & Account Planners with coordinating all returns and correspondence with internal and external customers.
  • Supervise Yard switcher with the physical movement of all yard equipment and proper documentation of seals, yard moves, and yard checks.
  • Oversee inbound receipts and outbound shipments, the invoicing of all freight, reconciling overages/shortages/damages and maintaining accurate and organized digital and filed records of all bill of ladings and receiving shipments.
  • Create and maintain operational efficiencies within the offices through scheduling, planning, and supervision.
  • Oversee ad hoc projects as needed to support the business.
  • Oversee training of all office personnel and enforce proper shipping/receiving procedures to maintain safety and quality.
  • Co-Facilitate End of Month/Quarter/Year for the Distribution Center Trains.
  • Mentor and develop operational clericals' development plans and professional growth.
  • Directly collaborate with W&D customer service and account representatives for multiple divisions to provide timely updates regarding shipments.
  • Daily partnership with Account Support and Strategic Service departments in order to resolve issues and ensure the facility and company metrics are met.
  • Troubleshoot issues arising from investigating vendor chargebacks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with PVH transportation team, as well as LTL, parcel and truckload carriers to ensure a proper amount of equipment and pickups are available to support up to 52 shipments per day at peak volume and timely unloading of inbound freight.
  • Sustain a thorough understanding of loading and routing compliance for customers to ensure accurate shipments with minimal charge-backs for the business.
  • Upholding all records, correspondence, documentation and photos detailing for shipments to dispute charge-backs as needed.
  • Oversee control of yard ensuring adequate equipment is on site, including empty and full trailer/container control, spotting, switching, etc.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field (preferred) w/1-3yrs supervisory experience. Office Management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of WMS (AS400/Manhattan), PKMS, MHE, RF, and host systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Sets departmental and shift work priorities based on information provided by the operations manager.
  • Based on information supplied by the operations manager, sets work priority within the department and shift.
  • Develops contingency plans for work volume in case of abnormal operating circumstances.
  • Utilizes appropriate managerial techniques to motivate associate staff.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
