Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for receiving and shipping medical instruments, devices, component parts and miscellaneous items into and from the repair facility by performing the following duties. This position may have responsibility for the disinfection control process of medical instruments/devices received. You will be responsible for pulling and ensuring all box orders (supply orders) are processed and shipped daily.

This is a day shift position. Hours will vary between 8am - 6pm depending on business needs.

What You'll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Unloads and inspects shipments received for accuracy and potential damage.
Test devices for contamination following WI-SHIP-01 procedure. Performs the disinfection process for the medical instruments, component parts and miscellaneous items into and from the repair facility.
Acts as a liaison and communicates problems, discrepancies, etc., with supervisor, technicians, Contracts and Customer Care.
Timely entry into Oracle systems may require cycle count, verification of pricing, address accuracy, item numbers, PO#, ship date requests, freight terms and contracts.
Routes medical instruments, component parts and miscellaneous items to proper repair location or final destination.
Leads and oversees the full cycle shipping tasks including but not limited to; Processing orders (including loaners/demos), RMAs, obtaining and retaining all back up documentation and approvals, respond to inquiries regarding the status of orders and delivery/tracking, preparing freight bills, packing lists, commercial invoices, and other documentation required for domestic and international orders, packs and secures outgoing medical instruments, component parts, and miscellaneous items for shipment through courier. Knowledgeable of and conforms to Company ISO goals and objectives and supports ISO requirements.
Identify, participate and implement continuous improvement activities to impact overall receiving areas quality, cost, and delivery initiatives.
Performs similar and related duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager, and/or Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager.

Required:


High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one (1) year of inventory work experience, preferably in a Warehouse or Shipping and Receiving environment
Knowledge of MS office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Pay range for this opportunity is $20.00 per hour. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
