Position Title: Shipping Manager

Reporting Structure: Reports to Operations Director

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $68,000, depending on experience and skill sets.

Job Classification: Full Time, non-exempt
Schedule: Full time, 50+ hours per week during peak times in the summer and fall and may include evenings and weekends.

Location: Onsite - Atlanta

Position Summary

Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) is seeking talented, driven individuals for the role of Shipping Manager, who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of materials essential for canvassing operations.

The Shipping Manager will report directly to the Operations Department Leadership.. Salaries for this position range from $63,000 - $68,000 based on experience and skillset.

Cycle/Project Based Full Time Position

This position is considered a Full-Time Employee meaning they are expected to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) for a defined period of time, typically the length of the project. However, RFS expects to provide extensive opportunities for successful employees and contractors to continue on with the company throughout the 2026 election season.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of high performing shipping assistants.

  • Gather, inspect, and organize materials required for canvassing, including literature, pens, and any other relevant collateral.

  • Carefully package materials according to specified guidelines, ensuring items are securely wrapped and labeled for easy identification and handling during transit.

  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries of canvasser materials, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and optimizing cost-effectiveness.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records of canvassing materials, monitoring stock levels, and initiating replenishment orders as needed to prevent shortages.

  • Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including inventory management software and Google Suite.

  • Commitment to upholding quality standards and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to support canvassing initiatives.

Plus Qualifications

  • Proven experience in shipping, warehouse operations, or a related field, with specific experience in handling bulk materials advantageous.

  • Familiarity with shipping regulations and best practices, particularly as they pertain to the transportation of promotional materials.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • This role requires the ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy boxes and materials on a regular basis. Shipping Associates must be comfortable performing physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and operating basic shipping and packaging equipment throughout the shift.

  • This position requires a current valid drivers license and access to personal transportation

  • This position requires vision/hearing abilities.
