We're looking for an experienced Shipping Team Lead to oversee our fast-paced fulfillment operations across direct-to-consumer, wholesale, retail, and Amazon channels. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in an e-commerce environment, enjoys building efficient processes, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves alongside their team.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and support the Shipping Team to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Oversee daily fulfillment for Shopify, Amazon, wholesale, and retail orders.
  • Print, organize, and prioritize daily orders while assigning work to the team.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide coaching, and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
  • Monitor shipping quality and identify product or packing issues before they reach customers.
  • Ensure products are packaged securely to minimize damage during transit.
  • Manage finished goods inventory and shipping supply levels, communicating inventory needs proactively.
  • Coordinate shipments with USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight carriers, and other logistics partners.
  • Create and manage Amazon FBA shipments while ensuring compliance with Amazon requirements.
  • Process shipping invoices and documentation accurately.
  • Respond to retailer and internal inquiries regarding shipment status, delays, and tracking.
  • Organize pallet shipments, receive shipping materials, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
  • Process returned products, including inventory reconciliation and recycling initiatives.
  • Provide weekly shipping and inventory updates to leadership.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and team performance.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in an e-commerce shipping or fulfillment environment.
  • Experience managing direct-to-consumer order fulfillment for a growing e-commerce business.
  • Familiarity with multi-channel fulfillment, including Shopify, Amazon FBA, wholesale, and retail operations.
  • Experience using shipping software such as ShippingEasy, ShipStation, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight shipping, and carrier documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable using inventory management systems, spreadsheets, and warehouse technology.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
  • Familiarity with Zoho Inventory or similar ERP systems.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or warehouse process improvement experience.
