Job description

This position is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse functions. This includes but is not limited to: international and domestic shipping and receiving, stock room and finished goods inventory control, inventory record accuracy, warehouse data entry, product labeling, employee training, and performance evaluation.

Key Duties:

Directly supervise warehouse, distribution, and stock room employees.

The Warehouse Process Owner role reports to the Supervisor of Warehousing and is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including Supervising warehouse Maintaining inventory accuracy, inventory control processes workflow

  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Managing relationships with parcel and LTL  

  • Ensuring employees are cross-trained and capable of supporting multiple warehouse functions.

  • Ensuring domestic and international orders are shipped accurately and on time.

  • Knowledge of supply chain management, distribution methods, and global transportation services

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform warehouse-related physical activities. Experience with WMS systems (e.g., Softeon) and inventory management systems. RF gun.

  • Knowledge of international shipping documentation (SLI, BOL, commercial invoices, export compliance).

  • KPI management experience (inventory accuracy, OTIF, productivity, dock-to-ship metrics).

  • Process improvement/Lean continuous improvement experience.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Customer Service, Transportation, Inventory Control, and Quality teams.

  • Ensure that effective controls are in place to maintain required inventory record accuracy.

  • Ensure that all departmental functions are performed in accordance with approved operating procedures and safety practices, and that the area remains in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with parcel and LTL freight carriers to ensure proper carrier selection, rate incentives, and service by thoroughly analyzing the best use of carriers and services for international and domestic shipments.

  • Ensure that all warehouse associates are cross-trained and are team-oriented in order to meet warehouse objectives.

  • Ensure that all international and domestic orders are shipped accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of leadership experience within a warehouse environment required

  • High school diploma/GED required

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds safely

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and reach for 8 hours at a time

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent

  • Working knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, distribution methods, and global transportation services.
