Leidos' Defense Sector Manufacturing is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Shipping and Receiving Department at our Platform Integration Facility located in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments of goods and materials. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment, and receives and unpacks materials and supplies. This position works under immediate supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Unload freight, count and verify contents, and input data into Cost Point.
  • Prepare shipments.
  • Previous Shipping and Receiving experience required.

Basic Qualifications
  • HS diploma/GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Operate material handling equipment.
  • Basic computer skills, Cost Point a plus.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Occasional overtime as operational needs demand.
  • Frequent lifting; ability to lift 35lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CostPoint.
