Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Will run pick/pull/pack reports from ERP system (AS400). Make shipping boxes from flat stock.
  • Verify part numbers, obtain signed shipping document.
  • Pack and seal shipping boxes, prepare for necessary logistics, make shipping labels.
  • Ability to drive company vehicles with parts to logistic carrier locations; vendor deliveries and pick up.
  • Pick, pack, palletize, and stretch wrap all customer orders due to ship each day.
  • Create all shipping documents for customer orders.
  • Arrange and schedule freight trucks to pick up customer orders.
  • Invoice customer orders.
  • Material handling as needed for manufacturing.
  • Weigh (verify count) all product shipping to vendors and create shipping documents for product.
  • Weigh (verify count) all product returning from vendors.
  • Open, maintain, and receive product on purchase orders for all product items.
  • Open and maintain work orders.
  • Data entry for production.
  • Supply assembly department with customer box labels.
  • Receive and check in product from vendors.  Verify against pack lists.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Receives incoming and raw materials and supplies.
  • Examines incoming materials to verify completeness and accuracy in quantity against shipping documents.
  • Disassembles wooden or cardboard containers and removes materials from containers.
  • Counts, examines weighs and check against shipping documents or material transfer forms.
  • Fills out reports to document shortages and damaged material received.
  • Maintains records of materials and supplies received.
  • Moves goods to corresponding destination or to storage.
  • To count, examine, weigh and check incoming materials and supplies for damage and completeness against shipping documents.

Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Windows Operating system and Windows Office proficient.
  • Experience with AS400 or similar MRP system knowledge a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well at all levels of the organization.
  • Motivated and deal with changing priorities.
  • Lifting and moving boxes.
  • Bending and stooping to wrap and band pallets for shipping.
  • Must be able to stand, walk for long periods and lift heavy items.
  • Must be able to read and write English fluently.
  • Some overtime may be required (Monday-Saturday).
  • Forklift experience and/or certified.

MIN: $17.00-$20.00.
