About Zone Seven Logistics

Zone Seven Logistics LLC is a freight brokerage agency partnered with one of the largest transportation networks in North America. We arrange truckload, LTL, flatbed, refrigerated and specialized freight for shippers across the United States.

We're a small, growing team. That means the person we hire will have real ownership of their accounts and direct access to the owner — not a seat in a call center.

About the Role

We're hiring a Freight Sales Representative to prospect shippers, build customer relationships, and grow a book of accounts. This is a phone-first sales role.

You focus entirely on selling. Lane pricing and load coverage are handled in-house, so you're not splitting your time between prospecting and operations.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and cold-call shippers to generate new business

• Research target companies to understand their freight, lanes and shipping needs

• Build and manage relationships with the customers you bring on

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for your accounts

• Follow up consistently to convert prospects into repeat customers

• Track activity and pipeline in our CRM

What You Won't Do

• Quote lanes or set pricing — handled in-house

• Cover loads or manage carrier operations — handled in-house

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience (phone or outbound sales preferred)

• Working knowledge of the U.S. logistics and transportation industry

• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

• Reliable home office setup: quiet workspace, computer, and stable internet

• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch or 3PL

• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Familiarity with load boards and freight market data

• Experience managing a sales pipeline in a CRM
