Connect Staffing Solutions is hiring an experienced Yard Shipping Agent for a busy outdoor yard operation. This position requires experience operating a 15,000 lb. Sit-Down Forklift and a Stand-Up Reach Truck while handling shipping and receiving duties in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Yard Shipping Agent to join our team. This position is responsible for operating a 15,000 lb. Sit-Down Forklift to safely move, load, unload, and stage steel pipe and other heavy industrial materials in an outdoor yard. The ideal candidate will also have Shipping & Receiving and Stand-Up Reach Truck experience.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a 15,000 lb. Sit-Down Forklift safely and efficiently
  • Move, stage, load, and unload steel pipe and heavy materials
  • Operate a Stand-Up Reach Truck for warehouse inventory and storage
  • Load and unload flatbed trailers and delivery trucks
  • Perform Shipping & Receiving duties
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintain an organized and safe yard and warehouse
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience operating a 15K Sit-Down Forklift
  • Stand-Up Reach Truck experience required
  • Shipping & Receiving experience required
  • Experience handling steel pipe, structural steel, or other heavy industrial materials preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be fluent in English (Speak, Read, and Write)
  • Candidates living within approximately 15–20 miles of ZIP Code 77066 are preferred
Employment Requirements
  • Pass a Drug Screen
  • Pass a Background Check (No violent or theft-related convictions)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)
