KIT Custom HomeBuilders is actively hiring Shingle Installers to join our Roofing Department. Help protect every manufactured home by installing roofing systems that provide lasting durability and weather protection while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Beginning August 31, 2026, eligible production employees will transition to a NEW Monday–Thursday work schedule (6:00 AM–4:30 PM), giving you a three-day weekend every week while maintaining full-time pay and benefits.

What You’ll Do
• Install roofing shingles on manufactured homes
• Perform hinge roof close-up and sealing tasks
• Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and sealing of roofing materials
• Inspect work to ensure quality and weather resistance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
What We’re Looking For
• Previous roofing, shingle, or construction experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
• Ability to work at heights and on elevated surfaces
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Additional Requirements
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work on roofs and elevated structures
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
Work Schedule

  • Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • After Training: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Overtime and occasional Saturdays as production requires
