Job description

Indiana University Health Medical Group South Region, part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking an Advanced Imaging Cardiologist to join a well-established and collegial team. Practice medicine in a university community within a diverse cultural environment, located in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana. Experience or training in Nuclear, TEE, CT and Cardiac MRI is required.

Position Highlights
  • Fullโ€‘time; Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (with one day off every other week)
  • 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient with 24/7 APP coverage
  • Weekday call; 1:7โ€‘1:8 for weeknights, 5โ€‘6 weekends per year and one holiday
  • Clinical outpatient (only) outreach to other location(s) one day per week
  • Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
Qualifications
  • Fellowship training in Cardiology, required
  • Advanced Imaging Fellowship, required
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
  • Visa sponsorship available; Hโ€‘1B and Jโ€‘1
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will support the growth of our cardiovascular program, including but not limited to roboticโ€‘assisted mitral valve repair, TAVR, Watchman procedures, MitraClip, and a busy EP lab. Our program performs a highโ€‘volume number of echocardiograms, nuclear studies, and a growing number of CCTA and CMR. PET is anticipated to be offered in the upcoming months.
