Position Overview
The Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a fellowship-trained Advanced Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist to join a high-volume, clinically focused cardiovascular imaging program. This position is designed for a physician committed to clinical excellence, efficiency, and collaborative patient care, without academic or research obligations.
The successful candidate will support a growing cardiovascular service line and work closely with cardiology subspecialists, cardiac surgery, and referring providers across the system.
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Imaging responsibility includes interpretation and performance of advanced cardiac imaging:
    • Cardiac MRI (CMR)
    • Cardiac CT (CCTA and structural heart imaging), and PET-CT
    • Advanced echocardiography (TTE, TEE, strain, stress echocardiography)
    • Nuclear stress interpretation

  • Close collaboration with:
    • Structural heart and valve programs
    • Heart failure and cardiomyopathy services
    • Electrophysiology and interventional cardiology

  • Participation in daily clinical operations, imaging protocol development, and quality improvement.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease, SCCT, and SCMR boards
  • Completion of an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship
  • Eligibility for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure
  • Strong commitment to clinical quality, teamwork, and patient-centered care

Physical Demands
Depending on role and specialty as well as condition of the patient, this may vary and include light energy levels of lifting or carrying 25 lbs. through high energy which would include lifting 50 lbs., pushing and pulling and carrying items short distances.
