Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Wilmington, North Carolina.

From administering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you will play a vital role in helping patients fight cancer with confidence and compassion.


Minimum Qualifications


• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.

• ARRT-T (AART Certification in Radiation Therapy) required.

• Valid state Radiation Therapy license, if required by North Carolina.

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist.

• Required certifications: BLS.

• Experience with CT simulation, custom molds/shields, MRI, PET scan, tumor localization, beam modifying/positioning, block cutting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, wedges, calculating radiation dose, and external beam therapy.

• Familiarity with treatment planning and record systems including Pinnacle (Philips), Eclipse (Varian), and ARIA.

• Experience with Varian 21 ex/ix, IMRT, radiation safety, simulation of treatment sites, and use of rapid response/code teams.

• Ability to work with lift/transfer devices and follow isolation precautions.

• Clinic experience acceptable for first-time travelers; local candidates accepted.


Preferred Qualifications


• Prior experience in adult acute care settings.

• Prior experience with CT/iCT and CBCT workflows.


Assignment Details


  • Shift Hours: 08:00 - 17:30.
  • Schedule: 5x8.
  • Ratios: 1:5.
  • Clinic will accept 13-week assignments only.
  • Traveler will start directly in the clinic; no dimensions or orientation required.
