Job Description:

Responsibilities

·       Maintain and own architectural integrity, stakeholder alignment, and "Edge" strategy.

·       Lead the transition of legacy C++ Linux applications into a unified, containerized, and modularized application suitable for both Cloud and local networks.

·       Architect the Edge-to-Online switch logic and high-availability patterns to ensure zero downtime.

·       Build and optimize microservices to ensure sub-millisecond response times for high-volume transactions.

·       Act as the primary technical point of contact for product owners, translating business rules into technical requirements.

·       Design the failover and "Online-to-Edge" switching logic to ensure 24/7 high availability for large-scale operations.

·       Provide technical governance and code review leadership for the offshore development team, ensuring alignment with modern RESTful standards.

·       Define the strategy for distributed tracing and metrics to ensure high visibility across the containerized platform.

 

Required Skills

·       10+ years in C++ (Linux) with a transition into Cloud-Native Architecture.

·       Expertise in Docker/Kubernetes and Blue-Green deployment strategies.

·       Expert-level understanding of Linux system calls, shell scripts, memory management, environment variables, and performance tuning.

·       Strong experience in API Gateway design and RESTful contract definition.
