Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you highly organized, tech-savvy, and experienced in managing assets and logistics? Shaw Electric is seeking aTool & Equipment Supervisor to oversee the lifecycle of our company-issued tools, vehicles, equipment, and trailers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our field staff by forecasting, purchasing, tracking, and delivering essential resources, while ensuring our warehouse operations run safely and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Asset Management: Oversee all aspects of company tooling, including software check-in/outs, tracking, forecasting, inspections, repairs, and inventory management.
  • Fleet & Trailer Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations for vehicles and trailers, including scheduling regular maintenance, coordinating registration renewals, handling GPS module installations, and overseeing vehicle badging.
  • Procurement & Logistics: Handle purchasing, quotes, invoice approvals, and the logistics/delivery of tools and equipment.
  • Warehouse Operations: Maintain an organized tool crib for quick response times. Receive and organize deliveries, greet warehouse customers, answer phones, and coordinate delivery appointments.
  • Safety & Compliance: Keep the warehouse facility clean, safe, and orderly in strict compliance with company and OSHA regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate tactfully with contractors, field personnel, and clients to explain tool operations and support field requests.
