Job description

Lakeside 40 is a 10 bed Medical-Psychiatry unit dedicated to a specialized model of care of patients with combined medical and severe behavioral health diagnoses. Common diagnoses include: agitation, psychosis, mood disorder, alcohol withdrawal, self-harm behavior, dementia (with psych disorder), eating disorders, catatonia, etc.

Education Requirements

  • Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program

License & Certification Requirements

  • An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance. 

  • Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Note: Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN preferred

  • Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
