New Grad RN Operating Room

New Grad RN Operating Room Full time 40-hours day/evening/night rotation including weekends, holidays and on-call required. The ideal candidate will have a BSN and experience in the Operating room as a Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Assistant or completion of a Sr. Practicum in an Operating room.

About the MGH Main OR Mass General Hospital's Operating Room department, it is comprised of an outstanding team of OR nurses, Surgical Technologists, Equipment Techs, OR Assistants, and OR Coordinators providing care for patients undergoing complex surgical procedures. Must be licensed as an RN in Massachusetts prior to the start of the Program in August. Our patient population spans the range from neonates to seniors, with 16 services and 61 operating rooms including an intraoperative MRI surgical suite, Intraoperative CT scan Suite, robotic technology and much, much more. Opportunities exist to advance your practice from novice to expert in a multitude of surgical specialties. Staff are engaged in precepting new staff (both experienced and new to the environment) and students from various education programs. Staff also participate in staff development projects, shared governance committees, and process improvements projects on the unit.
