Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $38.00 to $62.74 per hour. (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements).

Schedule & Flexibility: Patient care never stops, and our night team is vital to our success. This role includes shared coverage for overnight shifts. We utilize a collaborative scheduling system to ensure shift distribution remains fair and predictable for all nursing staff.

Glens Falls Hospital is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team! Glens Falls Hospital Surgical Unit is inpatient for adults and minors requiring surgical interventions. Patients are admitted for observation stays or surgical procedures that may need more recovery. Care is provided through a staff of RNs and PCAs and in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary staff. The clinical nurses are ultimately responsible to provide consistent, accountable care and make decisions with the patient, family and interdisciplinary team to create positive patient outcomes.

Team Impact

In this position, you will be an important member of the patient care team. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and within the scope of practice delineated in the New York State Nurse Practice Act. Provides direct patient care, delegates/assigns responsibility as appropriate to others, and serves as leader of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with and under the direction of the attending physician.

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
