Emergency Animal Hospital of Ellicott City in Ellicott City, Maryland (30 minutes outside of Baltimore and 1 hour outside of Washington D.C.) has proudly been serving our community for over 22 years, and we are excited to now be able to offer 24/7/365 care to our clients and their pets. We treat canine and feline patients on an emergency basis and see exotic species for both general practice and emergency care. We pride ourselves on our culture, with a high retention rate and a collaborative, supportive team. Emergency Animal Hospital of Ellicott City (ECEAH) is seeking a full time or part time emergency veterinarian to join our team. ECEAH is one of the oldest emergency animal hospitals in the community. What really sets ECEAH apart is our people and our culture. The ideal candidate will possess excellent medical and surgical skills, be a team player and excellent communicator. At Emergency Animal Hospital of Ellicott City, one of the region's most established emergency practices, the thing our team talks about most isn't the equipment or the caseload - it's the people. With 7 full-time veterinarians, ~30 support staff, and one of the lowest turnover rates you'll find in emergency medicine, we've built something genuinely rare: a team that likes coming to work.

Our doctors and technicians collaborate closely (4:1 tech-to-doctor ratio), support each other through complex cases, and share a commitment to doing right by every patient. New graduates receive real mentorship. Experienced clinicians find intellectual challenge and professional respect.

We handle a diverse caseload of small animals and exotics with a comprehensive in-house setup: digital radiology, in-house lab, ICU, Snyder ICU, isolation ward, diagnostic ultrasound, and a full surgery suite, complete with a Force Triad vessel sealer and electrocautery unit. You'll have the tools to practice the medicine you were trained for.

24/7/365 emergency care, with a variety of shift configurations available
