About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Infectious Disease MD in Macon, Georgia, 31201!

We are seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a 21-day assignment in Georgia, beginning Nov 2, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Monday, 8am-8am schedule, supporting outpatient office needs, including prescription refills, orders/signatures, staff questions, hospital follow-up, and general outpatient responsibilities.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support outpatient office needs, including prescription refills, orders/signatures, and staff questions.
  • Handle hospital follow-up and outpatient responsibilities.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Infectious Disease
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Work Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
  • Experience in intravenous medications is required.
  • Experience in intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents is required.
  • Shift Coverage: Monday-Monday, 8am-8am
