Job description

Advanced C4 Solutions LLC is currently seeking a Copier Technician I to join their team at the US Embassy Caracas, Venezuela. The Copier Technician I will perform installation, operation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of copier and multifunction print equipment supporting the Venezuela Base Life Support program. Working under close supervision, the incumbent performs routine maintenance and repair activities while developing technical proficiency.

Responsibilities include maintaining service records, documenting maintenance activities, complying with established program procedures, and adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and quality requirements. The position supports reliable operation of mission-essential print equipment while meeting established program standards. Security Clearance Requirement : Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance. U.S

Citizenship is required. Desired Certifications: OEM manufacturer training or certification (Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, HP, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Lexmark). Technical vocational certification related to copier or office equipment maintenance.

Required Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance. U.S

Citizenship required to obtain the required clearance. Preferred Training: Technical training or vocational education in electronics, electrical systems, information technology, office equipment maintenance, or a related technical field. Must Have Experience: Minimum of one and one-half (1.5) years of experience installing, operating, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing copier and multifunction print equipment

Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repairs. Experience documenting maintenance activities and maintaining service records. Ability to work under close supervision while following established technical procedures.

Experience complying with safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Skills: Install, operate, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair copier and multifunction print equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance.

Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical equipment issues. Follow technical manuals, work instructions, and maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation.

Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers. Maintain quality workmanship while complying with safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Desired Experience: Experience servicing commercial or government office equipment.

Experience with major copier manufacturers (Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, HP, Konica Minolta, Sharp, or Lexmark). Experience maintaining maintenance logs and service documentation. Experience working within established maintenance and quality procedures.

Physical Requirements: Lift and carry office equipment components, tools, and repair materials. Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach while servicing equipment.

Use common hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Perform repetitive hand and finger movements. Read technical manuals and service documentation.

Work in office, maintenance, and equipment room environments. Perform work safely in accordance with established safety requirements. .
