JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for coordinating aviation documents, manuals, subscriptions, and safety materials to support safe and compliant  operations. Acts as a liaison between internal teams, regulatory authorities, and vendors while ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and cost-effective.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Coordinate the generation of aircraft ‘Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL);
  • Control and distribution of Manufacturer’s Publications, currency/accuracy of applicable listings, documents and systems and upload of applicable documents on SharePoint ;
  • Act as liaison between Flight Operations, Maintenance and Transport Canada regarding MEL submissions and approvals;
  • Troubleshooting with vendors applicable subscription deficiencies;
  • Liaise with Finance related to subscription invoices and resolution of disputes;
  • Perform cost analysis to maximize cost efficiency in regards to subscriptions;
  • Fulfill other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  • Post secondary education/ College degree in a related field;
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive related experience in aviation or related business
  • Technical experience is an asset;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs (Word and Excel);
  • Proficiency in or working knowledge of SharePoint and various OEM publication systems is an asset;
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented;
  • Strong team player;
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Knowledge of French is highly desired;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and demanding environment.
