The Senior Software Developer reports to the Applications Development Project Manager and is responsible for developing and maintaining mission critical applications in a fast-paced environment. This individual is required to work in a collaborative environment with various teams in ITD (I.e., BA/QA, UI, Server Infrastructure) and other developers and project managers. The primary function of this role will be to analyze, design, build and support in-house developed as well as COTS applications

Examples of Work Analyzes, designs, develops, configures, and maintains applications and services by following standards and best practices. Installs, configures, updates, and diagnoses hosted, SaaS and On-Premise vendor applications (i.e., Oracle ERP, Oracle CX/CRM, etc.). Performs development using Agile and/or waterfall methodology

Prepares detailed technical specifications and system design documents. Identify and resolve gaps between requirements and technical design. Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

Ensures that solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Provides technical direction to software and junior developers. Develops/configures applications for web and mobile environments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of ASP.net, VB.net, C#, different .Net Frameworks, AJAX, JQuery, JSON, XML, CSS. Knowledge of building consumer-facing mobile applications (iOS, Android) by using responsive design or native platforms

Familiarity with SharePoint, Kentico and Document Management systems is a plus Knowledge and experience with Oracle ERP and/or CRM are a plus. Ability to develop code in .Net, MVC, Angular, bootstrap, MSSQL, Java, PHP, J2EE Ability to use TFS and GIT as Source Control Ability to define and follow coding standards Ability to work independently on large complex projects. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Experience in problem solving, time management, and analytical skills. Ability to provide assistance to junior developers with deployment of applications into hosted environment and/or client sites. Ability to assist with implementation and training teams as needed.

Ability to take direction from management and perform tasks efficiently. Open Requirements/Supplemental Information Seven (7) years of education and/or professional experience in Information Technologies with at least three years of .NET application development or software configuration work experience. Strong Web, Windows, Console applications development skills including integration using Web APIs Strong Analytical, debugging and n-tier architect skills

Proficiency in database design, writing stored procedures, triggers, SSIS and reports Excellent organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Display a high degree of inquisitiveness and an eagerness to learn at a detailed and abstract level. Highly self-motivated and organized, with a strong business sense to capture and fulfill the business requirements for all products and articulate in an architecture model.

Strong passion and thirst to keep up with new industry trends and standards. Strong time management skills. Microsoft or Oracle certifications are preferred.
