Role

Shared Service Front Office Specialist (HR Shared Services) | Global Business Services, People & Organization

Hybrid work model (Orlando, FL) — role requires on-site presence as part of the arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and resolving complex, end-to-end HR cases across global service lines (HR Administration, AskHR, ORS, Travel & Expense, Payroll, and Reporting).
  • Prioritizing workload based on urgency, impact, and risk to ensure timely resolution and service excellence.
  • Handling employee inquiries professionally, including complex or sensitive situations, with clear communication and strong stakeholder confidence.
  • Operating effectively across global regions and time zones while maintaining service consistency.
  • Analyzing data to validate, compare, and support decision-making; conducting root-cause analysis on new and recurring issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Understanding Workday configuration, logic, dependencies, and system impacts; analyzing system changes and identifying downstream implications across integrated platforms.
  • Identifying repeat issues and inefficiencies, leading continuous improvement initiatives; contributing to knowledge management and strategic initiatives (system implementations, process transformations, M&A integration).
  • Coordinating cross-functional activities for projects, including M&A and system migrations; ensuring alignment of activities and timely delivery of milestones.
  • Managing complex escalations, collaborating with P&O, Payroll, Finance, DPS, and external partners; presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders and influencing decisions.
  • Supporting change management and adoption of new tools and processes through training, coaching, and guidance; coaching peers to close capability gaps and improve performance.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
  • 3–6+ years in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or HR systems support
  • Proven experience managing complex HR cases and cross-functional escalations
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
  • Working knowledge of HR systems
  • Independent problem-solver with critical thinking skills
  • Experience with stakeholder management and influencing
  • High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in global HR environments across multiple regions
  • Knowledge of Workday and HR systems ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of data quality and end-to-end process flows
  • Ability to communicate and simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
