Job description

Accounting Manager (Hybrid - Denver, CO)


A growing, global technology organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support international accounting operations, statutory reporting, and month-end close activities across multiple entities. This role will partner closely with accounting leadership, external auditors, tax, treasury, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance in a fast-paced environment.


This is a hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado.


Responsibilities

International Accounting & Compliance

  • Support the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements across multiple international jurisdictions
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms and auditors on local compliance and reporting requirements
  • Assist with annual statutory audits and ensure timely completion
  • Monitor local accounting regulation changes and support ongoing compliance efforts
  • Maintain reporting calendars and ensure deadlines are met
  • Support reconciliation efforts between US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP reporting requirements
  • Serve as a key point of contact for international accounting matters

Month-End Close & Operational Accounting

  • Support month-end close activities for international entities and payroll accounting
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Assist with integration of newly acquired entities into accounting processes and reporting structures
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
  • Mentor and support junior accounting team members
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience with multinational accounting and statutory reporting
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP; IFRS exposure preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Combination of public accounting and industry experience
  • Experience working with outsourced providers or shared service environments
  • Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and problem-solving skills


Compensation

Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 annually
