Description
The role of the Shahbaz is to: protect, sustain, and nurture the Elders by providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living, and with other needs as required in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations and within the established policies and procedures of the company (Methodist Senior Services) to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care can be maintained at all times. Shifts are available 3pm -11pm, 2pm-10pm, 10p-6a or 11p -7am.
Requirements
License/Credentials
Must have successfully completed an approved Nurse Aide training course and be certified in this state, CPR certification, a First Aid course, the Green House Shahbazi Program within six (6) months of appointment as a Shahbaz, and other training as needed (may include Serve-Safe certification).
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. It is preferred that Shahbaz have six (6) months experience working in a nursing home, hospital, home health agency, or other health care facility. Shifts are available 3pm -11pm, 2pm-10pm, 10p-6a or 11p -7am
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet the minimum age requirements for a work permit in the state; must have verification that he/she is not listed on the "Mississippi Nurses Aide Abuse Registry"; must have successfully completed an approved Nurse Aid training course and be certified in this state, CPR certification, a First Aid course, the Green House Shahbaz Program within six (6) months of appointment as a Shahbaz, and other training as needed (may include Serve-Safe certification)
