SSA Steriquip is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to service critical medical equipment used in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. This is a fully field-based role where you'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install sterilization and infection prevention equipment that healthcare providers rely on every day.

No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for mechanics, HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance professionals, electricians, plumbers, diesel technicians, and other skilled tradespeople looking to grow into the medical equipment industry.

This is a safety-sensitive position.

  • Collaborate with Technical Support, Engineering, and Service Management to resolve complex issues.
  • Document service work using mobile technology and service management software.
  • Build strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and support company growth.
  • Travel throughout your assigned territory to support customer needs.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Associate degree, technical certifications, OEM training, or military technical experience may substitute for some experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing, background check, and physical assessment requirements
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Windows, email, mobile apps, and data entry
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, early mornings, evenings, or overnight travel as business needs require
