Raytheon has an exciting opportunity as an electrical engineer based in McKinney, TX with responsibilities having significant impact, recognition, and growth in the organization.

The engineer will reside within the Raytheon RF and Microelectronics Center Airborne Antenna Design department in McKinney, Texas. The RF and Microelectronics Center is responsible for full-scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for microwave products, including architecture trades, design, layout, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions. The engineer will have the opportunity to design, develop, and sustain state-of-the-art Transmit/Receive (T/R) microwave products (modules, TRIMMs, planar arrays, etc).

What You Will Do:
  • Support the build, integration, and test of complex RF hybrid components and subassemblies.
  • Analyze RF test data looking for trends and yield drivers.
  • Participate in cross-functional team to develop and execute novel projects to improve test yield and performance.
What You Will Learn:
  • Hands on experience with integration, test, and troubleshoot of complex RF hybrid components and subassemblies.
  • RF data capture, analysis, and presentation.
  • Exposure to microwave automated factory processing capabilities.
  • Design best practices for complex RF Hybrid assemblies Radar products analysis and performance.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
  • Experience with or relevant coursework on RF functions.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This position requires a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
