SugarHouse Industries is currently hiring for a full-time Shade - Awning Installer to provide great customer service while installing custom-made products at the homes and businesses of our clients in the Midvale, UT area. This skilled labor position earns a competitive wage of $16-$25/hour, depending on experience.

DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time skilled labor position typically works 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a daily lunch break, Monday - Friday. The ability to work some Saturdays will be required as well.

As a Shade - Awning Installer, you play an important role in providing our clients with a high-quality experience. At the beginning of your day, you review orders, participate in morning production meetings, and collaborate with your install team. This helps to set you and your fellow coworkers up for success. After you have a thorough knowledge of the daily agenda, you load the proper tools, equipment, and products into a company truck and head to scheduled appointments for the day. Typically working in a team of about 2-4 installers, you always communicate with respect and courtesy. You utilize ladders, hand tools, and power tools to install products in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, you often have opportunities to practice exceptional customer service when you come into contact with clients. You enjoy serving others, performing skilled labor with your hands, and contributing to the company in a big way!
